German Born Ghanaian Attacker Braydon Manu Has Expressed His Readiness To Make A Return To The Black Stars After A Long Injury Layoff

Former Darmstadt forward Braydon Manu eyes Black Stars return

German-born Ghanaian attacker Braydon Manu has expressed his readiness to make a return to the Black Stars after a long injury layoff.

The 25-year-old winger, who last played for the national team in 2021, has been out of action for the past year due to a knee injury.

However, Manu is now fully fit and has been training with his club, SV Darmstadt 98, for the past few weeks. He is eager to get back into the national team fold and help the Black Stars qualify for the 2026 World Cup.

"I'm feeling good and I'm ready to play again," Manu said. "I've been working hard in training and I'm confident that I can get back to my best form."

Manu is a versatile attacker who can play on either wing or as a central striker. He is known for his pace, skill and goalscoring ability.

He made his debut for the Black Stars in 2021 and has since won four caps. He scored his first international goal in a friendly match against Morocco in June 2021.

Manu is expected to be named in the Black Stars squad for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers in September.
