Arsenal are set to sign Ajax goalkeeper Tommy Setford for £1.84m, according to multiple reports. The 16-year-old has signed his first professional contract with the Dutch club until 2025, but the Gunners are said to have agreed a deal to bring him to the Emirates Stadium this summer.

Setford is a highly-rated goalkeeper who has represented England at youth level. He is the younger brother of Charlie Setford, who also plays for Ajax's youth teams and the England U17s.

Setford is seen as a potential star of the future and Arsenal will be hoping that he can follow in the footsteps of other successful English goalkeepers such as David Seaman, Jens Lehmann and Petr Cech.
